Worship

Heritage offers multiple opportunities to get connected with our body of believers through Bible study, fellowship activities, and our music ministry.  There’s something for everyone here. Come join us!

Heritage offers multiple opportunities to help you dive deeper into God’s word.  Bible Study classes for all ages are offered on Sunday mornings at 10 am.  Some classes explore the Bible one book at a time, others study with topical curriculum.  There’s a class for everyone!

In addition, we hold Bible study on Wednesday evenings.  Adults study under the Pastor’s lead, youth study with our Youth Pastor.

From September through May, fellowship meals are held on the third Wednesday of the month.  These meals provide an opportunity to come together for food and fellowship.  Other opportunities include an Easter morning brunch, Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations, a summer cookout, and various potluck meals.  Come join us around the table!

The Heritage Youth Group is an active bunch! Throughout the year, the Youth are engaged in Bible study on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings as well as participating in many different mission/ministry projects. One week you might see our youth raking leaves for our seniors, and the following week might find them having a fun night of games and movies.  Centrifuge Camp at Ridgecrest in NC is a yearly must!  If you are looking for a place to have fun and fellowship, while ministering to your church and community, then this is the youth group for you.

Our Children’s Ministry gives kids the chance to explore the truths of what it means to be a disciple of Christ. The children explore these truths through biblical teachings and various opportunities of service. Heritage kids also learn what it means to communicate the love of God to their friends, family, and neighbors, and they do so in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment.

Music is an important part of our worship experience. Congregational singing is dynamic featuring both traditional hymns and praise songs.

Our Sanctuary Choir meets on Wednesday evenings for practice.  All youth and adults who love to praise God in song are invited to join in. The choir prepares two special music programs a year at Christmas and Easter.

Praise songs are led by our Praise Team. This group meets on Sunday mornings at 9 am to practice.

We also have a Handbells group that practices on Thursday evenings and plays during the worship service several times a year.

The Triple L Club is a group of active senior adults – 50+ – who meet monthly to enjoy “Lots of Living Left” through field trips, educational programs, and fellowship luncheons. If you enjoy fun and would like to join this young-at-heart group, please come out to one of our upcoming events.
