Chase City Rebuild:
Heritage has partnered with New Life and other local churches to rebuild a home in the Chase City area that was destroyed by flood. If you wish to volunteer, contact our church office 434-392-6119.
Women on Mission:
Women on Mission (WOM) focuses on mission education and action for women.Our WOM supports Mission Friends for four and five year olds, .
Twice a year, we serve dinner at the Baptist Collegiate Ministries on Longwoods' campus.
In February, we collect coins in baby bottles to support our local pregnancy center.
WOM promotes three church-wide mission offerings each year.
Helping Hands of Heritage:
Since 2006, this fun group of mission-minded women meets every Friday at Heritage from 9 am until 12. They donate about 200 quilts each year. About 100 go to local missions and others have gone to Haiti, Texas, Japan, West Virginia, New Mexico, El Salvador, Afghanistan, Oklahoma and Tidewater VA.

FACES (Local Food Pantry):
The FACES food pantry is a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and for showing the love of Jesus Christ. FACES is located Commerce Road. On February 2, Super Bowl Sunday, we collect soup cans with $ bills attached for support of the Food Pantry at Faces. For information on when you can help please contact FACES at 434-392-6277.
International Missions:
Heritage Baptist supports foreign missions through the Southern Baptist Convention.
Hope Clothes Closet:
The Hope Clothes Closet distributed clothes to 165 families in need since opening November 2018. This includes families from Madeline House, Christmas Mother event, low income apartment complexes, and nursing homes. This mission is only possible because of the donations we receive. Our closet is operated by appointment only..call our church office on 434- 392-6119.
Small Team Ministry
Small Team Ministry is up and rolling! The Meal Team has already provided some meals and the Small Jobs Team is currently working on a project.

Southside Home:
In July 2006, the Southside Home opened its doors to provide a residential home for six adult men as part of the Developmentally Disabled Ministry of the Virginia Baptist Children’s Home & Family Services. Heritage Baptist Church donated 2 acres of land located on the western edge of the church property for this home. Southside Baptist Association maintains ownership of the home and it is licensed and operated by the Virginia Baptist Children’s Home and Family Services of Salem, Virginia.
